Vikash Residential School has always taken care to avoid overburdening the children with academics. We look at how much time students spend playing games, relaxing, reading interesting books, magazines and newspapers, engaging in hobbies and most importantly, performing volunteer work, all of which are crucial to fostering their development into contributing members of society. Taking the aforementioned into consideration, the CBSE has mandated that students up to class II should not be assigned to complete any homework. As alternate assignments, students in classes III to V are given thoughtfully designed projects and assignments to do at home.
