Recreational activities re-energize the body and mind. It also helps in stepping out and exploring oneself in fields of interest other than academics. It helps the young minds to discover the hidden talent in them.
Vikash High Global Campus takes extreme care of the recreational activities as an integral part of schooling.
On Sundays and Holidays students enjoy “Global Night” which is a mass dance which helps them to be together and grow.
Exploring and experiencing the world outside the four walls of classroom, and get connected to the learnt content with practical life, we organize field trips to the nearby places of educational interest which includes Museum, Planetarium, Art Galleries, Agricultural Fields, Factories IIT, NISER, Science Centers, State Assembly. On almost all Sunday mornings, a special talent hunt programme. Infotainment is conducted in the School Auditorium to hone the talents. It is a unique programme which helps in developing life skills, which includes Self-Awareness, Leadership, Team work. The activities include- dance, skit, song, anchoring, beat boxing, playing musical instruments, event management etc. The uniqueness of the programme lies in the name itself i.e. Infotainment which is Information and Entertainment. Top 10 news items of the week are presented through PPTs. The programme starts with a brief meditation for 10 mins.
All the events of national and cultural importance are celebrated throughout the year, which includes Independence Day, Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Ganesh Chaturthi, Saraswati Puja, Diwali along with National Sports Day, N Science Day, National Space Day, National Mathematics Day, Rashtriya EKTA Divas, Utkal Divas etc.
